Hello friends! How do you like our new gig? From now on we will be posting on the blog right here on the Permanent Collection website. This Monday, August 22 is a busy day…the first day of classes I'll be reprising my role as a professor (adjunct and not full time starting this year after five years of full time prof- eek!) in graphic design at Drake University teaching the Graphic Design History course- this one is always a pleasure (all the classes I teach are…) Should be a great semester. And… there will be a visit by Kyle Durrie of Power and Light Press powerandlightpress.com in her Type Truck teaching and promoting all things Letterpress! She will be at Domestica in the East Village in Des Moines from 5-8 pm, see you there!
